Mr. Rajender Chauhan is currently working as an Instructor Draughtsman Civil at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government Institute of Engineering & Technology, ITI Wing, Pragatinagar, Shimla. He assumed this role in October 2017. Prior to his teaching career, he gained practical experience as a Junior Engineer Civil at New Tech Building Consultant in Nahan, Himachal Pradesh, and as a Trade Instructor Draughtsman Civil at Bhagwan Parshuram Private ITI, also in Nahan. With approximately four years of combined experience in construction and teaching, Mr. Chauhan brings a well-rounded perspective to his role.
A native of Shree Renuka ji, District Sirmour, Himachal Pradesh, Mr. Chauhan holds a CITS in Draughtsman Civil form DGT Delhi and an AMIE/BE in Civil Engineering, awarded by the Institution of Engineers (India) Kolkata in 2023. He also earned a Diploma in Civil Engineering from Himalayan Polytechnic Kala Amb, District Sirmour, in 2013.
Mr. Rajender Chauhan joined the Himachal Pradesh Department of Technical Education as an Instructor Draughtsman Civil under the Self-Willed Financing mode in 2017. Since then, he has taken on additional responsibilities in different government industrial training institutes.
Ms. Sonam Kumari is a dedicated and skilled instructor specializing in Engineering Drawing. With her expertise, she empowers students to master the fundamentals of technical drawing, ensuring they gain a strong foundation in visualizing and designing engineering concepts. Her practical approach and commitment to excellence make her an invaluable asset to ITI Pragatinagar.
