The ITI wing at ABVGIET, Pragatinagar, commenced operations with three trades: Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, and Fitter, under the purview of the SCVT in the year 2011. Currently, two programs, Electrician and Fitter, each with a capacity of 20 students, are operational under the NCVT scheme, approved on September 25, 2012.
Additionally, Mechanic Motor Vehicle (intake: 24) was introduced in 2012-14 under SCVT, followed by Draughtsman Civil (intake: 24) in 2016-18 under NCVT. All trades are now NCVT-regulated. Each trade comprises two units, resulting in a total annual intake of 88 trainees.
Four trades operate under the CTS, a two-year program with annual examinations, affiliated with NCVT under the MSDE (formerly DGT). The latest addition is Mechanic Electric Vehicle (MEV), initiated in 2023-25 by the state government.
